Janki Devi Bajaj Govt. Girls college
established in1958 in Kota, a city is known as " THE EDUCATION HUB" of Rajasthan. It is well known the only government girls college in south east Rajasthan. The college has leading role in women education since five decades and it was accreditated "A" grade with CGPA 3.11 by NAAC. With the collective efforts of Principal Dr. Sanggeta Suneja and all faculty members, the college is progressing and reaching at new heights of excellence
An eminent educational institution for girls, the college stands tall as a pioneer college of science. In February 2014, college was accredited “A” Grade by NAAC. Every department of the college has well qualified and experienced faculty, well equipped laboratories and supporting staff. The college boasts of a well developed research laboratory which has been established under FIST, a project of Department of Science & Technology. Due to dedication and guidance of the faculty members and toil of the students, the talented students are able to bag top positions in university exminations. Few students also have been selected in DST sponsored Karya Project for summer internship in premier institutes across the country during the last two sessions.
Committes like YDC, NSS, NCC, Rangering, Placement Cell, Women Cell etc. work throughout the year for the welfare of the students. In addition to literacy exercises and free coaching classes for competitive exams, regular activities of sports, Summer camps, arts and crafts related competitions, Yoga camps etc. are organized to bring out the latent talent of the students.
The college has well equipped library with over 80,000 books to promote reading, learning habit among the students. A well-equipped computer lab caters to the technological requirements of the students. Two smart class rooms have been established in the college to facilitate, e-lectures. The college has also inflibnet and other e-content facilities to keep the students updated with current trends.
Situated within the heart of the city, the college also has a hostel for the students in the campus. The college strives for all round development of the students so as to prepare them to face the challenges of the world with strength, determination and values.
